We have held grant writing orientation for alumni - participants of IATP Mini Grants program.

November 16
As a part of International Education Week, we have held a seminar "Using Educational Internet Resources in Classroom" simultaneously in all IATP centers in Ukraine. In Kyiv center in NaUKMA, this seminar gathered 12 teachers from Kyiv schools, who then actively participated in chat between IATP centers. Our thanks to FSA Undergraduate alumnus Sergei Mailo for his assistance with chat moderation. Materials for this seminar are available in Training section.

August 27-29

IATP in Western NIS (Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine) held a conference for administration in the three countries. The three-day event held in Lviv, Ukraine was devoted to IATP2/IATP3 transition period. See details...

July 16 - 18 at the IATP - UKMA center, we have held 3 introduction seminars to distance learning course "Linux System and Network Administration". Seminars were presented by Vadim Popov (on the picture) - IATP-Minsk System Administrator.

We have held seminar on "Security Issues on the WWW". It was first seminar of the "Security Issues on the Net" series. "Email: Security and Privacy" and "Computer "virusology" and antiviral protection" seminars are to follow.

We have held seminar for FSA Undergradute program finalists of 2001 at the IATP - UKMA center. The main topics discussed were Internet search basics and email use.

Seminar "New Economy Transformations: Business on the Internet" was held at IATP center in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. IATP staff and seminar participants would like to thank to Mr. Clayton Lee (USA) for developing and presenting this very interesting event.

IATP Training Coordinator Maria Makovska took part in presentation of European Youth Parliament in Ukraine, which was held at English Teaching Resource Center of UKMA. The presentation was followed by the "Fundraising" workshop.

Maria Makovska, IATP Training Coordinator, took part in seminar "Internet - integrated English classes in the multimedia environment", held in Zaporizhzhya. Maria did a workshop about using email, and made short presentation about free online English courses, lessons and tutorials.
We would like to thank to "ZISMG" University of the Humanities (Zaporizhzhya) for the organization of this very interesting event, and inviting our representatives to participate. Our personal thanks to Mr. Alexey Nescheret (TEA program alumnus).

On March 22, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., we have held a seminar "Scholarship Opportunities for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies" at IATP-UKMA center.

Olga Yakimakho (IATP - Minsk) and Maria Makovska (IATP - Kyiv) have held 2-days seminar "Essential skills for getting the right job". The topics included: CV and resume writing, interview techniques, and Internet job search.

IATP - Kyiv Trainer Maria Makovska held "Web Resources for Teachers of English" workshop in Zaporizhzhya. This workshop was a part of the seminar "Use of Information Technology in Teaching Foreign Languages", organized by IATP (Kyiv) and ZIGMU University of Humanities (Zaporizhzhya).
